Item Rules

   Posted by: Tav   in Uncategorized

  1. You are not allowed to purchase ANY items from a broker, vendor, auctioneer, etc.
  2. DDOs economy and ease of obtaining magical consumables is ridicuous. We ar trying to maintain our own personal economy that will give us some more challenge but still allow us to obtain better items. The only exception to this rule is House Favored items, spell inscription materials, non magical items such as masterwork swords, and spell components. Also, we have special rules for BREW POTION, SCRIBE SCROLL, and CRAFT WAND.

  3. You are allowed to purchase items from Favored House Vendors such as the House Deneith arrows.
  4. You are allowed to purchase buffs from House Jorasco and Phiarlan.
  5. You are allowed to share chests with other party members that are present in the quest.
  6. You are not allowed to GIVE items to any character, including your own unless they were in the quest when you open the chest.
  7. Unwanted items may be sold to vendors or brokers but not the Auction House.
  8. Guild Merchants:
  9. Everyone in the guild is a merchant of sorts. Youre all adventurers collecting rare items and trinkets throughout your adventures. Of course fellow guildmates are interested in those items.

You can SELL any item that you have to a guild mate for the appropriate gold.

All items MUST be purchased at their BASE ITEM VALUE. You must have the gold on you at the time of sale. No owing gold to anyone.

You may SELL an item to one of your other characters as well. But they must purchase it at the BASE ITEM VALUE like any other guild member.

This means that characters are encouraged to hold onto items that they think others would find useful. Scrolls, potions, wands, armor, weapons, everyone can find something useful.
